two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Cambridge Personal Radiation Monitoring Service (CPRMS), which forms part of the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, provides personal radiation monitoring services to a wide range of NHS, University and private customers throughout East Anglia and beyond.
Every year, the CPRMS issues about 24000 dosemeters for whole-body and environmental dose assessment, 6200 dosemeters for finger dose assessment and 2300 dosemeters for eye dose assessment. The CPRMS operates within a Quality Management System that is approved under ISO 9001:2015, and acts as a HSE Approved Dosimetry Service (ADS) for Record Keeping.
The Authority requires provision of an external radiation does assessment service, which is able to meet our requirements, as stated in the ITT Documents
