Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a Contract with a single Supplier to carry out the Highway Structures Inspections Programme from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2028. The required Principal Inspections (PI) and General Inspections (GI) are to be carried out in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) document reference CS 450 – Inspection of Highway Structures by suitably qualified and experienced Bridge Inspection Certification Scheme (BICS) Inspectors.
