Scope

Description

NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) are seeking a provider for the provision of a Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data Management Software System. The Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data Management Software System will be used for the recording, statistical analysis, interpretation, and reporting of NHSBT data. NHSBT operations are based at a number of locations and the System software and its functionality must be compatible with NHSBT IT services. The SPC Data Management Software System must support data entry and reporting to allow both single datum and combined data analysis and review. The System must provide functionality to ensure data integrity and audit trail. The minimum system functionality will include the ability to build data sets by secure manual data entry to the system. NHSBT objective is to automate data handling wherever possible with system expected to have functionality to analyse datasets generated by data transfer to and from other NHSBT IT systems. The SPC Data Management Software System must be a substantially 'Off the Shelf' solution with user configuration to allow NHSBT data management. The Supplier and System will be validated against the specification criteria prior to the software being accepted for use by NHSBT.

This Procurement is being run under a multi-stage Competitive Flexible procedure pursuant to section 20(2)(b) of the Procurement Act 2023 to establish a single supplier contract.
