Additional deliveries by the original supplier are required as a partial replacement of supplies/installations. A change of supplier would oblige DHB to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility with the existing, specialist control systems and would cause disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance.
