The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI) is to engage with the supply base to request information relating to the delivery of an integrated learning system and how the market can support and meet Network Rail requirements.
As part of a CP7 renewals programme, Network Rail Training are considering utilising the market to supply a Learner Experience Portal (LXP), Learning Management System (LMS) and a system to support the planning/scheduling of training events. These solutions will support Skills, Leadership and Professional Development courses across the industry.

There will be a strong focus on utilising data and information to provide seamless learning experiences through one interface, with Network Rail Training aiming to move away from siloed solutions that drive inefficiencies due to disbursed learning content.
As an arm’s length government organisation, Network Rail has a responsibility to ensure funding provides value for money and that there is a proven return on any investment. With this in mind, Network Rail require supply that can provide a platform that meets its needs both in terms of relevant, quality content, user experience, and innovation.
