This Invitation to Tender is issued on behalf of Ubico Ltd for the provision of a Weed Control Service. Control of weeds across highway verges and other public and service areas. For the purposes of this contract the word ‘weeds’ will be used to describe grass or other natural growth emerging in these areas. The maintenance objective is to effectively eradicate unwanted growth by spot treating the weeds. This is to ensure it causes minimum risk to operators, water supplies and the public or animals. The initial contract term will be for the period of 2 years. The initial term may be extended by a period or periods of up to 3 years, taking the total potential contract term to 5 years. Potential locations - Gloucestershire & West Oxfordshire The estimated Contract value is estimated at £504,000 for the entire term. No guarantee of volume can be given.
