This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market that NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB) (The Commissioner), intention to commission Mental Health Specialist Advisory (and Support) Services. The Commissioner would like to understand the level of provider interest in delivering these services

This service provides support to residents of East Berkshire where social determinants have impacted significantly on an individual’s mental health and they are unable to access or gain maximum benefit from a mainstream CAB offer or equivalent. The service will be provided as comprehensively as possible, within available resources, across the three east Berkshire Places.

This service is to be delivered across the East Berkshire/Frimley North part of Frimley ICS. (A similar service is commissioned separately across Frimley South).

Providers will deliver a specialist advisory service to clients with significant mental health problems in the community who are unable to access, or be successfully supported by more generic community services, namely the Citizens Advice (CA). If people are able to be supported by mainstream CA services this will be the first point of contact and support.

The Contract duration will be confirmed ahead of the formal invitation to tender (ITT) being issued, it is likely to be 3 years with potential extension of 1 year + 1 year.

Total combined maximum contract value will be confirmed ahead of the formal invitiation to tender (ITT) being issued. It is likely to be in the region of £120,000 per annum.

Commissioners wish to understand the level of interest in this service from the market and invite suitably qualified and experienced providers to complete the attached engagement questionnaire.

Providers wishing to take part in the market engagement must express an interest within the e-procurement system where providers will be given access to a draft specification and questionnaire. Bidders who express an interest will be expected to complete the online questionnaire.
