two.1.4) Short description

The procurement of a co-commissioned mentoring service for London Integrated Offender Management (IOM) is planned, led by MOPAC, but with additional investment for other London CJS partners. The funding for this service will run until March 2025 and this will be a pan-London service. This provision will be specifically aimed at the complex needs of London IOM service users subject to community sentences.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The service will seek to engage hard to reach people, to rebuild trust and engagement, with the overall aim of reducing persistent, violent reoffending and supporting positive changes. Lived experience and relatability for mentors will be important in engaging this group. The service will be fully integrated and evaluated as part of the London IOM framework, which works to reduce reoffending from the most persistent, violent offenders in London.
