The Cellular & Molecular Therapies (CMT) laboratories within NHS Blood and Transplant ( NHSBT).
The contract will need to cover maintenance of existing equipment and/or consumables for existing equipment to perform Cell Selection & Processing procedures. CMT provide a range of services to support haemopoietic stem cell transplantation including collection, processing, and cryopreservation of stem cells. An important part of the services offered by CMT is the purification of stem cells and depletion of other cells, such as CD3+, TCRαβ, CD19+ cells, that may cause complications in the transplant procedures.
The purpose of this notice is to:
• Alert potential suppliers that NHSBT intends to award a contract for the supply of consumables and/or maintenance of existing equipment.
