Framework operation description
This is an open framework tender where up to six (6) suppliers will be given the opportunity for a place on the rotational framework. The six (6) suppliers will be those who offer the best overall submission in terms of quality and pricing - Most Advantageous Tender - MAT.
In addition to the six (6) suppliers who will automatically (upon acceptance and contract signature) be placed on the framework, two (2) additional places will be offered on a 'reserve list'. This reserve list will be called upon if for some reason any of the initial six (6) Suppliers are unable to provide a service.
The framework of the six (6) suppliers will be arranged in alphabetical order and will be allocated work on a strict rotational basis. Each supplier will be offered on their rotation a piece of work (work package). This offer will be open for acceptance for three (3) working days. If it is not accepted within that time the offer will move to the next supplier on the list. Failure to take up the offer will mean the supplier will have missed the opportunity until the next full rotation and there is again an offer of work.
