Description
This is a foundational course that aims to provide delegates with a basic understanding of various models, conceptual, analytical and numerical, used in groundwater investigations and management. The limitations and appropriate use of different types of models will be discussed, along with sources of uncertainty and understanding model sensitivity. It is not aimed at teaching delegates to build models. It will be taught in the context of developing appropriate knowledge to enable proper use of groundwater models in supporting regulatory decision-making.
