Norfolk County Council are seeking to procure a Tier 2 Weight Management Service for Children and Young people. The Council is currently scoping its requirements for a new contract to commence on the 1st of October 2024. The Provider/s will be expected to deliver evidence-based interventions and support to Children and Young People (CYP) who are identified as overweight or obese (Over 91st Centile). The ambition is to have appropriate programmes in place to support families and households with support needs relating to healthy weight for their children aged 4 to 12 years, alongside an intervention service for children & young people over 13 – 19 years with consideration of a potential flexible service offer for those aged 19 to 24 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We will be issuing a further PIN in January 2024 with details of market engagement.
