Essex County Council is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) update as notice to engage with the market and offer a Bidders event focused on using ProContract; in order to enable potential bidders who are not familiar with the ProContract platform to see how to register to use the platform, as well as an overview on how to find and respond to the future tender opportunity; as well how to ask any clarification questions.
A timetable of available sessions has been provided below for potential bidders to select from. The Council intends for these to be group sessions, with all participants anonymous, to be up to one hour in length. Participants will be able to ask questions via a Q&A function.
Alternatively a 30 minute instructional video is also available should potential bidders be unable to attend either session below but still require assistance familiarising themselves with the portal.
It is important to note that this PIN is not a call for competition and as such you will need to express your interest in any future tender opportunity once the contract notice is published in Find a Tender and on Contracts Finder.
It should also be noted that this PIN invites individuals and organisations to express an interest in this exercise only, and is NOT part of any pre-qualification or selection process.
This PIN is intended as an awareness, communication, and information sharing exercise.
