The Seven Force Commercial Team are conducting market research into Sexual Assault Referral Services for victims of Sexual Violence, services performed within Sexual Assault Referral Centres and Forensic Medical Examiner Services for Police Custodies. This market research is on behalf of The Police and Crime Commissioners for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk (collectively referred to as the Authorities)

This Prior Information Notice is to inform the market of the opportunity, engage the market to investigate possible service options via a Request for Information and furthermore, understand market interest.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Seven Force Commercial Team are conducting market research into Sexual Assault Referral Services for victims of Sexual Violence and Forensic Medical Examiner Services for Police Custodies. This market research is on behalf of The Police and Crime Commissioners for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk (collectively referred to as the Authorities)

The Intention is to conduct an open tendering exercise to appoint a supplier for the provision of Sexual Assault Referral Services (SARS) to the Authorities that complies with both the CQC and Forensic Regulator stipulated ISO standards. In addition, the successful service provider may also be the Legal Entity (LE) for the purposes of the ISO standards, dependant on the option chosen.

[The LE has full responsibility for all aspects of the accreditation including, but not limited to the examination room, staff, training, procedures, equipment, cleaning, record keeping, the premises etc]

This opportunity may be divided into LOTs at point of tendering, at present the Authorities are looking to gain suppliers views on the options presented within the Request for Information
