two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Framework Agreement is for the provision of services for Independent Living Skills for Adults with Learning Disabilities/Mental Ill Health in accordance with agreed Support Plans under Option 3 of Self Directed Support to meet the required service outcomes. The service will be for Individuals to develop their independent living skills, social development, health and wellbeing and where appropriate the opportunity to gain work related skills through work experience and/or volunteering as well as the opportunity to attain work related qualifications. The Framework will cover a wide range of services determined by the needs of the Individual.
The Flexible Framework will be for a period of 3 years with a further 2 one year extension options.
The Framework Agreement will be flexible to allow new entrants to join; the Council reserves the right to open up the Flexible Framework for new Service Providers at any time.
