two.1.4) Short description

East Midlands Ambulance Service are seeking suppliers to provide patient journeys as part of the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) Taxi Support Service for the PTS Derbyshire and PTS Northants Regions.

The journey may either be from the home of the patient to hospital and treatment centres, or vice versa, which include points of care that are situated within Derbyshire and Northamptonshire, along borders of neighbouring counties and to other locations as required.

The tender should be awarded as 2 separate lots and providers may bid for either/both of the lots

- Lot 1 PTS Derbyshire

- Lot 2 PTS Northants

The contract shall be for an initial 3 year period with the option to extend for further 2 x 12 month periods.

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will allow a standstill period at the point the decision regarding the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The standstill period shall be in accordance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015 Regulations 49, Directives (2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council) Part C Annex V. The Regulations provides for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the Regulations to take legal action.
