South Ayrshire Council on behalf of South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership (SAHSCP) is undertaking a market scoping exercise, under Regulation 41 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, seeking notes of interest from Providers of Community Based Supports for Children Affected by Disability(s), Community Based Supports for Children living at home with their parents / carers and Therapeutic Supports (e.g., Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Equine Therapy).

: Successful Providers will deliver Services which:
- Provide flexible, person-centered support to Children, Young People aged up to and including 18 years old, and their families.
- Enable Children and Young People to achieve their goals and outcomes as per their Child Assessment and Plan and Support Plan; and
- Meet all requirements of the Service Specification.
Providers will be required to deliver a range of flexible, personalized and outcome focused support, either in the family home or in the community.
Providers will deliver outcome-based services and Person-Centred Support to Children and Young People up to and including 18 years across South Ayrshire.
All types of support should be delivered in such a way that they are in line with individual Child/Young Person’s needs, choices, and preferences as per the Child/Young Persons Support Plan and are subject to appropriate risk assessment.
Providers will encourage the Child/Young Person to express their views in relation to the support through a means of communication appropriate to them. This includes involving advocacy representatives where appropriate.
The Provider is required to deliver a range of service supports including but not limited to:
- intimate and personal care (Lot 1)
- comply with medication requirements (Lot 1)
- managing difficult situations (Lot 1,2,3)
- promoting and working towards development of life skills (Lot 1,2,3)
- contributing to reviews (Lot 1,2,3)
