Description

This is a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice published by the Business Services Organisation (BSO) Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) acting on behalf of the five Trusts within Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI): Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT), Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT), Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT), South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEHSCT), Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) and the Public Health Agency (PHA).

The Northern Ireland Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and the Regional Symptomatic Faecal Immunochemical Testing Services are currently delivered in partnership by the NHSCT and PHA on behalf of all five Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland.

BSO PaLS on behalf of HSCNI and PHA are seeking engagement with the market place for supply of a Faecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT) system for Northern Ireland Bowel Cancer Screening Program and Regional Symptomatic testing service.

We invite prospective suppliers to participate in this initial market engagement exercise by completing the Preliminary Market Engagement Questionnaire.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to: Gain greater knowledge and understanding of the current market landscape; evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of existing solutions; educate stakeholders on emerging technologies and service models; assess supplier readiness and identify any recent developments or innovations in the provision of Faecal Immunochemical Testing.

The overall purpose of this questionnaire is to engage with prospective suppliers and gain further knowledge and understanding of the market landscape.

Suppliers should note that any interest shown in this Preliminary Market Engagement exercise does not constitute a commitment to participate in any future tendering exercise.
