West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service wishes to appoint a contractor for the provision of a planned maintenance service, which includes cyclical maintenance, inspection, testing, the provision a of reactive call-out service including any consequential repairs and replacement or upgrades relating to the Multipurpose Training Centre (MPTC) at it's headquarters site within Birkenshaw, West Yorkshire.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) is seeking to engage with the market by obtaining expressions of interest regarding the upcoming tender requirement for the Multipurpose Training Centre - Servicing and Maintenance requirements.WYFRS would like to understand the markets interest and its capacity to bid and deliver the contract. A brief, but non-exhaustive list of the key requirements are as follows: Planned Maintenance - Periodic inspection, testing and maintenance work Consequential Services - Repairs, replacements and required modifications identified Reactive Maintenance - A reactive call-out service to attend to faults or breakdowns The tender is to be issued approx. February 2023, with a contract start date of approx. 1st June 2024. The contract will be in place for a minimum of 3 years, with optional +1 and + 1 years (5 years total).
