As part of CPI’s ‘Packaging Innovation’ business, the following specification and associated URS relates to our requirement to develop and commission a Blister Packaging Line.The Blister Packaging Line will be part of a broader Capability Platform designed for ‘Screening and benchmarking sustainable materials for blister packaging’The creation of this capability platform is driven by market demand from the pharmaceutical sector and the foundation industries (polymers/chemicals). ‘Sustainable Blister Packaging for Pharma’ is a Systemic Challenge (SC) project, also led by CPI, where the whole value chain will convene to conduct a deepdive (social, technical, commercial, environmental) into the blister packaging system, towards unlocking a new commercially viable system that maximises sustainable benefits and competitive advantage.
