The Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP) requires the provision of additional care and support at home services for adults for an initial period of 3 months from January to March 2023, with a potential extension of 12 months to March 2024. It is anticipated that in the region of 2,300 additional hours will be required per week during this period to respond to higher demand over winter and add capacity to the system.

Social care provision is particularly important because it has the potential to embrace a strong preventative emphasis as well as meeting assessed needs and fulfilling agreed outcomes. The responsiveness, flexibility and effectiveness of our social care arrangements will not only have an impact on an individual’s wellbeing but also on wider systemic performance and outcomes

We are looking to increase our services to enable people to remain in, or return to their own homes, living as independently as possible and to maintain or promote their potential in relation to physical, intellectual, emotional, and social capacity. The provider will work in collaboration with the Health & Social Care Partnership and other private organisations to help us deliver our strategic plan and provide high-quality, person-centred care based on enablement and positive outcomes.

The maximum hourly rate payable is 21.41GBP

Additional capacity is required from as early as possible in January 2023, and providers are asked to confirm the date from which hours can be delivered.

two.2.14) Additional information
