Translink requires a suitability qualified service provider for provision of Taxi service daily (24/7; 7 days per week). Rail staff may require to move from railway locations to their start point or finish point to meet the business needs. This is primarily outside of normal operating hours of train services or for emergency situations. Translink will require the service provider to assist in the transportation of passengers where there have been issues with the rail services, which may result in passengers being unable to reach their destination.
Translink are in the process of drafting tender documents to best suit our requirements. We intend to explore a range of options including the use of environmentally friendly vehicles. We are also keen to understand new and innovative techniques in the industry to help shape our tender documents.
It is envisaged that the contract will commence in early 2024. It is anticipated that meetings relating to the exercise will be held on Microsoft Teams. Interested suppliers are requested to e-mail their expression of interest in attending a 60-minute virtual meeting sometime wc 18 December 2023 to: Rhys Franklin, Category Manager at rhys.franklin@translink.co.uk NO LATER THAN 14:00 on 14 December 2024.
