The council will shortly be seeking to explore alternatives and establish a long-term resolution regarding the catering services offered at our Walton Hall Estate. This will involve three separate procurement lots, each catering to different aspects of the estate:

1. Indoor catering provision within Walton Hall for various events such as weddings, civil ceremonies, christenings, funeral after services, and conferences. Currently, Walton Hall offers a diverse menu selection and has successfully hosted over 200 events in the 21/22 period.

2. Outdoor catering provision across the estate for events like outdoor cinemas, theatre events, and corporate gatherings.

3. The bar facility within Walton Hall, which will cater to events requiring bar services. The current bar licence allows operation from 11am until midnight, with the possibility of extending the licence.

The council aims to find the most cost-effective solution and is open to flexibility in terms of commercial and service approaches. Contracts may be awarded to multiple bidders to provide a diverse range of choices. We are eager to hear potential bidders' proposals for all sites, as well as their ideas for investment and development opportunities within the estate

The Council will be holding an event for interested parties on Thursday 11 January 2024 at 1pm There will be opportunity following an initial presentation for attendees to book 1:1 appointments with Council Officers to discuss our requirements in more detail and also arrange further site visits.
