Lot 1 is for a single provider to uplift materials from mixed glass recycling points throughout the Falkirk Council area and deposit at Household Waste Recycling centres. For Lot 2 A single provider will then uplift the bulked glass and transport onwards for reprocessing / reuse.

Collection of glass from Recycling Points within the Falkirk Council area. Collected glass to be taken for bulking at Roughmute Depot, Bogton Road, Bonnybridge, FK5 0NP and/ or Kinneil Kerse Recycling Centre, Grangemouth Road (A904), Bo'ness, EH51 0PU

Falkirk Council currently provides approximately 75 mixed glass sites corresponding to circa 245 bottle bank containers located across the Falkirk Council area.

Mixed bottles and jars are collected together at Recycling Points in 1100 Litre and 1280 Litre containers. Falkirk Council will supply and maintain all containers.

Falkirk Council will detail the collection frequency per week required for each Recycling Point.

Falkirk Council may vary the locations and collection frequency required for each Recycling Point during the term. Must be a registered waste carier.
