Southampton City Council (“the Council”) invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers (“Potential Suppliers”) for the provision of Water Quality Monitoring and Analytical Services.
This procurement follows the open procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
The Council, the duty holder, requires an experienced UKAS Accredited Water Quality Monitoring Consultancy (‘the Consultant’) to deliver customer focussed Water Quality Monitoring and Analytical Services to cover all areas within the boundary of the city of Southampton for a proposed term of 5 years with the option to extend for further periods of 3 years and 2 years to give a total contract of up to 10 years subject to performance.

Description of renewals
The term of the contract shall be 1st April 2025 until 31st March 2030, to be followed by an extension option, at the Council’s discretion, of a further 3-years only, followed by a further extension option of a further 2-years only. The Council’s award of any extensions shall be subject to the Contractor’s satisfactory performance in connection with the contractual obligation, Scope of Work and the Key Performance Indicators, retention of competitive rates, a demonstration of fit for purpose, and spend levels being within the advertised range.
