AWE Plc (Atomic Weapons Establishment) is seeking to purchase two e-beam physical vapour deposition coaters.

The successful bidder will be required to design and manufacture the coaters in adherence to technical requirements set out by AWE. The bidder will also be required to deliver and install the coaters and provide through-life maintenance.

AWE Plc (Atomic Weapons Establishment) is seeking to purchase two e-beam physical vapour deposition coaters.

The successful bidder will be required to design and manufacture the coaters in adherence to technical requirements set out by AWE. The bidder will also be required to deliver and install the coaters and provide through-life maintenance.

To support the drafting of a future Invitation to Tender, AWE is requesting interested parties to submit responses to a Request for Information (RFI) available on the Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP)

AWE requests interested bidders to reply to the RFI with a summary of their existing capabilities and experience.

Respondents should also indicate if they would have the capability to build and deliver a system to the proposed design together with any prior experience of working on or supply of equipment/services to nuclear licensed sites.
