seven.2.1) Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

This variation is a 3-month and 16-day extension and a 50% value increase (£200,000) under Regulation 72 (1) (b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. To summarise:

- 3-month and 16-day time extension to the 31/12/24.

- 50% value increase (£200,000 excl. VAT).

The nature of this service is such that it is required between September and December 2024 to support the overall Co-Development Investment (CDI) process. This will serve as a 'bridging arrangement' until a new supplier is on-boarded in January 2024.

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

A procurement for a new legal advisor is underway and due to be onboarded in January 2025.
