The London Borough of Merton (“the Council”) is inviting tenders under the Light Touch Regime to provide Advocacy and Independent Visitors Services for Merton’s Looked After Children and Care Leavers.

The Council seeks a provider that will support fulfilment on Merton's statutory obligations to our care experienced children and young people and delivery of our commitment that all our younger residents will live well and thrive in Merton. The provider will need to ensure that our looked after children and care leavers, including those with additional needs and Education Health and Care plans are aware of and have access to advocacy services that ensure their interests are promoted effectively, ensure their rights are respected and their views fully considered and reflected in decision making about their lives. The provider must also ensure that they are given assistance when making or intending to make a complaint.
