The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) wishes to inform the market of their intention to procure services to prepare and present comprehensive toxicological and/or epidemiological reviews that support the assessment of human health risks of chemicals in the environment for three independent Government Advisory Committees.
A draft Statement of Requirements can be accessed via this link: https://atamis-1928.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/0O000000rwim/a/Sr000000QhKf/FTyRtrh5fZ0Adrb0VxLWv89566dqdHHQj226tqVDYg0
The current proposal is to procure these services via an Open Tender published Nov 24 for a Public Contract with an initial term of 36 months plus options to extend for 3 further 12-month periods, budget and performance dependent, up to a maximum of 6 years or until the maximum contract value of £1.9m is reached.
Please note that details of the assessment criteria will be issued with the Invitation to Tender Pack. The Authority is aware that this requirement is very technically demanding and niche and may not be best delivered by a single Economic Operator so would take this opportunity to alert the market to our willingness to consider bids from groups of economic operators bidding with a lead or a bidder proposing a broad range of associate or sub-contractor delivering services. In alignment with the UKHSA SME Action Plan, we aim for the minimum requirements for participation to be proportionate and focused on Technical ability
If you feel there is any key information missing from this document that would inform or improve a potential tender, you can email researchsurveillance.cp@ukhsa.gov.uk referencing LSRS352/ C308768 Toxicology and Epidemiology Review Services.
