Explanation:

Elective Services provide consistently high volumes from experienced staff, and have been very reliable. Other suppliers we have used provide their own preference of availability which often doesn't cover the Trust's requirements. Elective Services offer availability on a daily basis and weekends. They are also more able to respond quickly to the Trust's needs, whether that is increasing or decreasing the number of staff/scans as necessary, as they have a large pool of physiologists.
Comparison of providers on the SBS framework, shows that Elective Services are one of the lowest priced providers for the service required.
