The Services comprise the supply of supported local bus services provision in accordance with the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Contract Agreement for Supported Local Bus Services (Conditions of Contract and Contract Monitoring) and applicable International / U.K. / Wales legislation throughout the term of any Contract Agreements subsequently awarded as a result of this tender process.

All services will be supplied in line with agreed schedules (i.e. route and service journey times).

It is intended that Contract Agreements will be awarded for three (3) year terms effective from Monday, 1st April 2024 with the Council’s option (in agreement with the successful supplier) to further extend on an annual basis up to a maximum term of five (5) years.

All Contracts will be based on a minimum subsidy basis (i.e. the operator will retain any on-bus revenues including concessionary fare reimbursement etc.).
