Welsh Government is seeking the development of a bilingual (Welsh/ English) Speech, Language and Communication (SLC) package, to include:
- An SLC identification tool (or tools) suitable, and fit-for-purpose, for use with all children in Wales aged from birth to 5 years. The tool(s) should be suitable for use by all Early Years practitioners and clinicians. The tool will be developed, piloted, refined and validated by the successful bidder. It will include a user manual incorporating full technical specifications.
- Associated interventions to be specified (or developed), for use at universal, population and targeted levels.
- Training content for practitioners who will use the tool
- Evaluation of the tool(s), interventions and training
Please note that all elements of the package will be owned solely by Welsh Government upon completion of the contract.
