Description
Modis International were engaged due to their specialism in, and ability to, provide high calibre interim technologists with Higher Education (HE) domain experience at short notice; something a more generalising recruitment partner would not be able to do. The urgency of the planning and demand horizons for these resources meant that the usual procurement processes could not be followed and Modis already have experience of working with The University of Birmingham (UoB). Modis have provided resources with knowledge and familiarity with UoB's systems and processes to allow for immediate and effective contributions, which would not be possible with a new provider. The time required to bring another supplier up to this level of understanding would be significant, leading to delays in the initiatives timeline(s) and associated impact on milestones. Retaining this partnership ensures continuity and minimises the time loss that would otherwise be incurred through an extensive onboarding and training period with a new vendor.
