The Requirement has been split into two Lots;

Lot 1- A single cylinder research engine for heavy good vehicles application

Lot 2 - A single cylinder research engine for marine application

Tenderers can bid for any of the two Lots or both.

Brunel University London is currently inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of two single-cylinder research engines to be used for the research and development of combustion and engine control technologies for zero carbon fuels.

The Requirement has been split into two Lots

Lot 1- A single cylinder research engine for heavy good vehicles application

Lot 2 - A single cylinder research engine for marine application

Tenderers can bid for any of the two Lots or both.

The Potential Supplier will be expected to provide (or be able to provide access to) pre-sales technical advice and support, and have a good understanding of the key features and aspects of the equipment they are selling to the University.

Proposals should be based on the following technical requirements;

The engine should meet below specifications

The provided single-cylinder research engines should have ignition systems, fuel injection systems, coolant systems and lubricant oil systems so that they can be connected to external systems in test cells at Brunel engine lab.
