The Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools (TBGS) is a company set up by the 13 grammar schools in Buckinghamshire in order to commission, manage and administer the Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test which is used to determine the suitability of children for a place at a Buckinghamshire grammar school.
The purpose of this notice is to notify the market of TBGS' intention to undertake pre-procurement market engagement prior to commencing procurement activity to appoint suitably qualified supplier(s) to deliver the required services.

The procurement is expected to be divided into two lots, Lot 1 Secondary Transfer Test Provision and Lot 2 Test Administration Services.
It is expected that the Services will be divided into two lots but TBGS is interested in exploring alternative arrangements for delivering the Services, e.g. the Service being delivered in a combined lot.

The Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test is taken by approximately 10,000 children each year at the start of the Autumn term when they are in Year 6. Pupils take the test at their own primary school or at one of the grammar schools.
The Services TBGS is seeking are:
Secondary Transfer Test Provision: TBGS requires tests to determine suitability for grammar school. This is expected to include test development, printing and delivery of test papers, marking and producing results data.
