The aims of the service are:

To improve the mental health and wellbeing of new mothers, their families/Carers, and infant(s). Providing a seamless pathway through the infancy years reducing the referral rate into the perinatal mental health service.

Providing a service which supports the needs of those at the risk of a social/emotional crisis

Act as a conduit to identify, broker, and signpost individuals to other help and support agencies as needed

Support from preconception through to the infant(s) reaching 12-month-old

To empower new mothers with knowledge and understanding of perinatal mental health
