Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking tenders from experienced and reputable companies for the provision of drainage services. The Contracting Authority is renewing an existing framework which is split into two lots - Lot 1 - Drainage Surveys and Lot 2 - Drainage Works. The framework is being established on a schedule of dayworks

Description
Bydd y gwaith arolygu yn unol â llawlyfr dylunio Arolygon Draenio CS551 sy'n ymdrin ag arolygu ac asesu draeniau.
Survey work shall be in accordance with the CS551 Drainage Surveys design manual which covers Drainage inspection and Assessment.

Lot 2. Gwaith Draenio Drainage Works
Description
Bydd y fframwaith yn arwain at 4 contractwr a fydd yn darparu adnoddau ychwanegol i ategu'r tîm priffyrdd mewnol. Yn gyffredinol, bydd archebion gwaith yn cael eu creu a bydd y contractwyr fframwaith yn darparu adnoddau a phlanhigion i gwblhau pob pecyn gwaith. Bydd amser arweiniol o 24 awr ar gyfer mobileiddio adnoddau. Bydd yr arolygon draenio yn Lot 1 yn llywio'r gwaith y gofynnir amdano yn y lot hwn.
The framework will result in 4 contractors that will provide additional resources to supplement the internal highways team. Generally, works orders will be created and the framework contractors will provide resources & plant to complete each work package. There will be a lead time of 24 hours for mobilisation of resources. The drainage surveys in Lot 1 will inform the work that is requested in this lot.

Framework operation description
Bydd y Fframwaith yn cael ei sefydlu yn seiliedig ar amserlen o gyfraddau dydd. Bydd yr atodlen hon yn cael ei defnyddio i lywio archebion gwaith parhaus a gwblhawyd o dan y fframwaith. Bydd y 2 dendrwr sgorio uchaf yn cael eu dyfarnu i Lot 1 a bydd y 4 tendr sgorio uchaf yn cael eu dyfarnu i Lot 2. Bydd y rhain yn nhrefn rheng. Bydd y Contractwyr rheng 1 yn y ddau lot yn cael contract galw blynyddol i ffwrdd. Bydd archebion gwaith eraill nad ydynt yn dod o fewn yr alwad flynyddol yn destun cylchdro yn nhrefn rhestredig.
The Framework will be established based on a schedule of day rates. This schedule will be used to inform ongoing works orders completed under the framework. The top 2 scoring tenderers will be awarded to Lot 1 and the top 4 scoring tenderers will be awarded to Lot 2. These will be in ranked order. The rank 1 Contractors in both lots will be provided with an annual call off contract. Other works orders not falling within the annual call off will be subject to rotation in ranked order.
