In reference to the procurement for provision of Blackpool Coast Protection Consultancy Support which was originally advertised on the Find a Tender Service via a contract notice (ref: 2022/S 000-019931) dated 21 July 2022.

The decision has been taken not to proceed with this procurement.

Having carefully re-evaluated its position in light of internal staffing changes following re-structuring, including transfer of staff into key areas of the directorate with skills and technical knowledge, Blackpool Council has decided that it is able to meet the technical requirements of the Coast Protection Scheme internally and as such has opted for in-house delivery of the support required from this contract.
