The overall goals of the programme are to support SMEs in developing new products and services, to foster innovation, and to enhance their competitiveness in the market in both Birmingham and Solihull. The programme aims to achieve the following outcomes:• to drive business growth through product diversification and new production development, • to create an environment that supports SMEs to develop new products and services to meet existing and future customer demand, • to provide technical support and expertise to help frame market opportunities. to facilitate the development of prototypes as Minimal Viable Products through access to facilities to enable production• to connect businesses to the wider business support network and facilitate introductions to investors and investor vehicles.

The programme aims to achieve the following outcomes:• to drive business growth through product diversification and new production development, • to create an environment that supports SMEs to develop new products and services to meet existing and future customer demand, • to provide technical support and expertise to help frame market opportunities. to facilitate the development of prototypes as Minimal Viable Products through access to facilities to enable production• to connect businesses to the wider business support network and facilitate introductions to investors and investor vehicles.The contract will be awarded to one supplier, commencing January 2024 for a period of 15 months (ending 31st March 2025).This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).Please note that this service will be delivered in conjunction with Solihull MBC with procurement and additional support from the Council
