Explanation:

There is only one network bus company that operates across on the Isle of Wight. Therefore we are unable to run a competitive procurement process in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for the supply of the bus passes for students to use on the network busses. The period of the bus passes coincides with the dates and possible extension period of the main Home to School Transport provision contract on the Isle of Wight. We will be observing a 10 day standstill which will end at midnight on 5 December 2022.
