two.1.4) Short description

Scotland's Railway will soon be commencing procurement of a Lineside Framework for Tree and Vegetation Management (Clearance & Maintenance) and boundary renewals. The Framework will be split into two distinct categories and this event is focused on category 2 which is an exciting opportunity, particularly for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as the intention is to split this category into 4 boundaries (3 suppliers in each) to support our delivery units across Scotland. This will provide a great opportunity for up to 12 suppliers to get on to the Framework.

Ahead of procurement beginning later this year, Network Rail will be holding a Supplier Engagement Event where SMEs and other interested suppliers can find out more about this opportunity, including;

The importance of SME involvement in Lineside Vegetation

What is required to work Lineside in the Railway industry

Overview of the Procurement process - an SME friendly approach
