two.1.4) Short description

Melton Borough Council wishes to engage with the market in order to better define a commercially viable specification for the management of their leisure services.

Suppliers interested should complete the questionnaire at https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/toR7lx in order to input on this.

It is expected that the duration of the Contract will likely be 20 years consisting of a 10+5+5 split. Based on income from the previous year the total value of the contract would be Circa £25m (current yearly income x duration of contract),

The contract is looking to secure a leisure operator for MBCs two leisure facilities in Melton Borough to be in place by 1st April 2024. It is expected that the operator will be responsible for ensuring effective management of the facilities on behalf of MBC and also the promotion, encouragement and provision of easily accessible leisure services to users of the borough and beyond to promote healthy lifestyles in accordance with the Councils Corporate priorities.
