Description
Commercial Procurement Services (CPS) wishes to award a framework agreement or agreements for the provision of Transperineal Prostate Biopsy Systems which will allow Participating Authorities to procure a system from a multi-supplier framework.
The proposed framework will allow Participating Authorities to procure these goods in a legally compliant manner, with the assurance that Suppliers have met rigorous criteria.

Description of possible extension:
This is Framework 1 of an Open Framework.
The Term of the Open Framework shall be 8 years from the Commencement Date. It is intended that the Open Framework will be reopened every 24 months as the Framework Host deems necessary. At these points, incumbent framework suppliers will have the opportunity to revise their Tender, or they may leave their offer as per their last framework tender submission.
The term of Framework 1 shall be 24 months from the commencement date.

Further information about fees
The Framework Fees will be in the form of a Gain Share Charge. The Gain Share Charges will be calculated at a rate of 1.5% of the turnover of each Call-off Contract awarded via a Framework Agreement. The Gain Share Charge will be paid by the Framework Supplier to the Framework Host for the duration of each Call-off Contract. Call-off Contracts may exceed a Framework Agreement Expiry Date and in such cases the Gain Share charges will continue to be paid until the Call-off Contract expiry date.
Framework operation description
Call off contracts may be awarded with or without further competition.
