The Cornwall College Group has a number of campuses throughout Cornwall along with Bicton College in Devon will be seeking suitably qualified supplier(s) to provide Student Transport / Bus Services from September 2025.The routes would be required to run from the start of the autumn term, right through to the end of the summer term; excluding the Christmas and Easter holidays, half-terms and bank holidays. To ensure the safety of our learners, all vehicles must be PSVAR compliant and all drivers will have an up to date DBS check and agree to complete safeguarding training. As our service needs to be extremely reliable we would welcome companies who would have a spare bus available, should there be an emergency, and to those who can or are willing to explore the possibility of transport being tracked by the end user. We will also require a designated person of contact, should we need to coordinate routes on a daily basis.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Cornwall College Group has a number of campuses throughout Cornwall along with Bicton College in Devon. The college provides a wide range of vocational and further education courses and apprenticeships for 16-18 learners. The group of colleges combined have up to 1,000, 16-18 further education learners, who require transport to and from college each day.Our transport routes would be required to run from the start of the autumn term, right through to the end of the summer term; excluding the Christmas and Easter holidays, half-terms and bank holidays. To ensure the safety of our learners, all vehicles must be PSVAR compliant and all drivers will have an up to date DBS check and agree to complete safeguarding training. As our service needs to be extremely reliable we would welcome companies who would have a spare bus available, should there be an emergency, and to those who can or are willing to explore the possibility of transport being tracked by the end user. To improve the experience of our learners and to enable us to monitor passengers we would welcome those who would be able to use Ticketer. Alongside this, it would be beneficial to be able to provide WiFi as well as exploring options for providing our learners with any discounted off-peak travel offers. Suggested routes are as attached. Flexibility may be required due to student numbers, at the beginning of term and we would welcome a price scale for different size vehicles.
