NHSBT now wishes to commence a formal procurement process and is seeking to engage with suppliers of session screens. The current contract ends in January 2024 and NHSBT would like to improve our knowledge of all current session screens available in the marketplace. This will aid identification of opportunities and gauge market interest in this field.
We require the services to cover the following: -

• The system construction may be flexible to allow panels to be added or removed as required.
• The screen set must employ sound absorbing/reducing materials sufficient to provide a high degree of confidentiality/speech privacy when used for health screening purposes and must weigh no more than ten (10) kgs.
• The screen set should be of such a design that it is capable of being erected by one person.
• The item must allow easy and effective cleaning in case of contamination without causing discolouration of the sheeting or frames.
• All materials used must be fire retardant and conform to ISO standard (NFPA – 701)
• The screen set must be safe to use and pose minimal risk of injury from cuts or abrasions, nips or trapped fingers.
• The Supplier must provide two screen sets free of charge to complete any operational testing necessary.
It is NHSBT's intention to hold pre-procurement supplier engagement meetings the week of December 4rth 2023 to December15th 2023. the meetings will be held remotely, the dates are to be confirmed. To enable NHSBT to finalise arrangements (e.g. send meeting details and agree time slots) for the meeting’s, interested organisations are required to send an expression of interest via email to Sahithi Bandi - sahithi.bandi@nhsbt.nhs.uk no later than 17:00 hrs (GMT) on 01/12/2023.
