The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Principle Contractors to enter into a framework agreement (Framework) for the delivery of its External Painting scheme (the Works) to assist with the delivery of the Authority’s investment plan. The Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Programmed works requiring differing values and complexities as required. The Authority will require the Successful Framework Suppliers to be acting the capacity of Principal Contractor. The Framework arrangement will consist of an initial term (period) of 2 years, with 2 further option(s) to extend up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority.
it is anticipated to have a maximum of 3 Contractors on the Framework.
The main activities include external painting of woodwork, metalwork, masonry, cleaning of guttering and pre-paint repairs to housing properties. Full information including the Framework operation is included in the Tender Pack.
