Project CARA (Cautioning Adult and Relationship Abuse) is an early ‘awareness raising diversionary’ intervention targeting domestic abuse offenders who have received a Diversionary Caution.

Offenders attend two workshops which are designed to help offenders understand what domestic abuse is, the impact it has, and its consequences. It also signposts offenders to other specialist services.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), as the contracting authority for Greater Manchester Police, seeks to appoint a Commissioned Organisation to work with Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and The Hampton Trust to roll out Project CARA.
