Wiltshire Council would like to inform the market of the intention to procure a Children's Home Care Framework and advise of an upcoming provider engagement session.
The Children's Home Care Framework provides home and community-based care and support to individuals up to the age of 25 years. This service must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
This notice is not a call for competition.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The purpose of this PIN is to notify the market of a forthcoming procurement and an upcoming provider engagement session. The procurement will seek to set up a flexible framework for the provision of care and support for children and young people at home. This notice is not a call for competition.
The Children's Home Care Framework aims to
• Support children and young people to access and participate in activities in the community and provide respite for family and carers.
• Support children with activities in the home and provide respite for family and carers.
• Provide children with personal care support including moving and handling responsibilities.
This support will help children and young people to increase their confidence and independence with a combination of emotional, health and social care support.
Children, young people, and their family/carers will have access to high quality care services that are centred on them and treat them with dignity and respect. It will keep them safe, offer real choice and control, promote independence and social inclusion, and be supported by highly skilled and dedicated staff. The service will operate over 7 days a week for children and young people up until the age of 25.
The provider engagement session for this procurement will take place on Tuesday 6th December 2022 between 14:30 - 15:30 via Microsoft Teams. This session will involve a short presentation, indicative tender timelines and there will also be opportunity for providers to ask questions.
