The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers who can undertake high quality passenger lift servicing, maintenance and installation works. The scope of the services may include but not be limited to passenger, stairlift and disabled lift.
It is currently envisaged that the procurement will be divided into two main areas:
1. Upgrades and new installation works
2. Service, maintenance and repairs
The tender will be divided further into regional lots to be performed throughout Orbit’s operational areas across Midlands, Southern and Eastern England, including Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Kent, East Sussex, Surrey and South London – further details will be made available within the tender documentation.
The value of the contract across all areas and regions is estimated between £1.2m to £1.8m per annum (£4.8m to £7.2m across four years).
