North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (the Contracting Authority) who are conducting a Request for Information (RFI) exercise to engage with the market in order to inform the further development of draft proposals for the future service of delivery of Podiatry Services - Complex and Non-Complex Patients for South Tyneside and Sunderland locality areas.

The Contracting Authority is interested to hear from providers who could deliver Podiatry Services - Complex and Non-Complex Patients in South Tyneside and Sunderland geographical areas.

Potential providers are to note that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (as amended) may apply to a future procurement including the New Fair Deal non-statutory policy setting out how pensions issues are to be dealt with when staff are compulsorily transferred from the public sector to independent providers delivering public services.

The RFI documentation will be accessible from 18 November 2022 and completed RFI responses must be submitted by 5pm 02 December 2022.
